This statement clarifies the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the publication process of this journal, including the author, the chief editor, the Editorial Board, the peer-reviewers, and the publisher. This statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
Editor Responsibilities
- The editor of Professional Business Journal (PBJ) is responsible for deciding which articles to publish through editorial board meetings.
- Editors treat all submitted manuscripts fairly and without discrimination.
- Editors maintain confidentiality of manuscript information.
- Unpublished manuscripts will not be used for the editor’s personal research.
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Reviewers assist in editorial decisions and manuscript improvement.
- Reviews must be objective with clear arguments.
- Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and avoid conflicts of interest.
Author Responsibilities
- Authors must submit original, honest, and plagiarism-free work.
- Manuscripts must not be under review elsewhere.
- All references and sources must be cited properly.
- Authors must accept revisions that do not alter the substance of the article.
Publisher Responsibilities
- Professional Business Journal (PBJ) ensures proper publishing practices.
