INKUIRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VII SMP TERPADU BINA BANGSA

This research aims to increase the motivation and learning outcomes of class VII students at Bina Bangsa Integrated Middle School for science subjects. The type of research carried out is classroom action research or PTK. There are two cycles designed in this research which consist of four stages. These stages start from planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. Data collection through questionnaires and tests. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The research results showed that
student learning motivation increased from 48% in the first cycle to 86.6% in the second cycle. The learning achievement results of students who were originally 25.81% who managed to get a score above the KKTP became 45.16% in the first cycle and increased to 83.87% in the second cycle. Therefore, it can be concluded that the inquiry model can increase student motivation and achievement for science subjects in class VII of Bina Bangsa Integrated Middle School.
