Abstract

The aims of this study are 1) To describe the role of the principal as an innovator and manager in sustainable professional development. 2) Describe the results of the analysis of teacher achievements in Continuous Professional Development (PKB) at SDN Bancak 01. 3) Explain the results of the identification of the obstacles faced by teachers in Continuous Professional Development (PKB). 4) Explaining the solutions taken by the principal in dealing with the problems of Continuous Professional Development (PKB). This research is a qualitative descriptive study.
The research was conducted at SDN Bancak 01, Gunungwungkal District, Pati Regency. Methods of data collection using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data triangulation. The results showed that the principal of SDN Bancak
01 had a role as a manager and innovator in Sustainable Professional Development (PKB). The achievements of professional development also appear in the form of reports and implications for classroom learning. These activities face obstacles in planning and implementation. The principal looks for alternative solutions so that these problems can be addressed properly. The suggestion from the researcher is that all stakeholders in the school should work together to assist teachers in
implementing Continuous Professional Development (PKB). This is because professional development for teachers has broad implications for teachers themselves and students
