PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR TENTANG PECAHAN MELALUI METODE REALISTIC MATHEMATIC EDUCATION SISWA KELAS KECAMATAN TAYU
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to increase motivation and learning outcomes of mathematics in Tayu Pati class students. The researcher planned this research using the principles of Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was divided into 2 cycles, each of which consisted of 3 meetings. The result is that after the improvement of the learning cycle I was carried out, there was an increase in the ability of the fraction material to be 76%. After the researchers continued to improve learning in the second cycle, the result was a significant increase, namely student learning outcomes had reached 94%. With these results, the author
feels that the research has met the target of completeness which is only 85%. learning motivation also increased from 35% in the pre-cycle to 65% in the first cycle and 88% in the second cycle. The conclusion of the study is that the RME (Realistic Mathematical Education) method can increase motivation and learning outcomes for Fractions material in Tayu Pati
class II semester II 2019/2020 academic year.
