This research aims to, 1) Describe the improvement of the learning process on weather material in class III of SDN 4 Punduhsari Manyaran Wonogiri Semester II for the 2022/2023 academic year. 2) Describe the increase in student competency in understanding weather material for class III students at SDN 4 Punduhsari
Manyaran Wonogiri Semester II 2022/2023 academic year. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) on class III students at SDN 4 Punduhsari Manyaran Wonogiri. Data collection techniques use observation and evaluation of student learning outcomes. This research data was analyzed using comparative descriptive analysis. The results of this research were successful, namely; 1) there is an improvement in the learning process, namely in cycle 1 with a score of 12 from a maximum score of 20, in cycle 2 it increases to a score of 18 from a maximum score of 20. The percentage of score achieved is 90%, while the expected target is 80%. 2) in student competency, there was an increase in the average score achieved by students to a score of 16 in cycle 1 and a score of 22 in cycle 2 from a maximum score of 25. The expected average score achievement target is 20. The conclusion of this research is that it can achieve process improvements in learning there is an increase in student competence through the Problem Based Learning learning model.
