The concept of Independent Learning Readiness (SDLR) encourages students to take the initiative in planning, implementing, and evaluating their own learning process. SDLR serves as an important tool to assess students' success in achieving learning goals in their educational environment. Students with high SDLR tend to achieve higher GPAs due to their strong motivation to learn. Conversely, low learning interest often leads to poor academic performance, while high learning interest is associated with better academic achievement. This study aims to analyze the relationship between SDLR and Grade Point Average (GPA) among nursing students at Unissula. This quantitative study used a cross-sectional design with a sample size of 122 respondents, selected through simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using the Spearman rank correlation test. The results showed that 62 respondents (50.8%) had a high SDLR level, while the highest GPA category was satisfactory, which was 60 respondents (49.2%). Statistical analysis showed a significant relationship between SDLR and GPA, with a p value of 0.000 (<0.05) and a strong correlation (r = 0.435).
